VLCC 2011 Board Members Welcome

The Victorian Lebanese Community Council is very pleased to be entering onto its 4th year of establishment with a fresh wave of ideas and energy. With an ambitious list of goals that hopes to further unite and strengthen community ties more than ever, we look forward to sharing several of these ambitions with you in the near future.

Following our most recent annual general meeting, the role of board members was finalised and we are pleased to share them with you. We welcome into the role of Chairperson Ms Nada Naim with Dr Mohamed Dirani assuming the role of Deputy Chairperson. The role of secretary will be filled by Ms Hanan Noura, Ms Samar Naim as Treasurer, Ms Iman riman as Public officer, Dr Michael Kheirallah as Public Relations Officer and the joint roles including Youth Officer (Karim Noura and Samar Naim), Projects and Grants Officer (Carol Makhoul and Hanan Noura) and Media Officer (Cathy Soufan, Mohamed Dirani & George El-Azar).

Maintaining the momentum of years passed, this year is proving to be no different. Following the success of the VLCC Australia Day BBQ last February which raised over one thousand dollars in donations to go towards the flood victims of Queensland, our goals for 2011 are ambitious and we look forward meeting them together with you.
